♦ How to upload the Amazon feed file ▾

The button above downloads two files: a tab-separated feed with your edited content, plus a text copy of these instructions. Use Option A for best results (Amazon trusts your own CLR format most).

RECOMMENDED Option A — Category Listings Report workflow

Seller Central → Inventory → Reports → Category Listings Report. Request a new report for your product's category and wait for it to finish (usually 10–30 min).
Download the finished report as a .txt file.
Open both the downloaded CLR and your amazon_feed_{sku}.txt in Excel.
Find the row in the CLR whose seller-sku matches yours. Paste the edited values from our feed into the matching columns (item-name, product-description, bullet-point1–5, generic-keywords).
Set update-delete to Update on that row so Amazon treats it as a partial update (price, quantity, dimensions stay intact).
Save the modified CLR as a tab-delimited .txt file.
Seller Central → Catalog → Add Products via Upload → upload the modified CLR.
Watch Monitor Uploads tab — feed processes in 2–15 min. Look for 0 errors, 1 update.

QUICK Option B — Inventory Loader (price/quantity stays)

Seller Central → Inventory → Add Products via Upload.
Select the Inventory Loader template (or your category template if you prefer).
Copy each column value from amazon_feed_{sku}.txt into the matching Inventory Loader column.
Set update-delete = Update on the row.
Upload and watch Monitor Uploads.

Tips

If you have dozens of SKUs to update, run the optimizer on each, batch the rows from every downloaded TSV into one CLR, then upload once.
Keep the original CLR before editing in case you need to roll back.
The feed uses update-delete = Update — any column left empty in your CLR stays unchanged.
If Amazon rejects with "title too long" or "invalid characters", edit the affected field in the Edit panel above and re-download.
